During the call
During your advising call, we'll first get to know you by asking a few questions about your current level of experience, your strengths/interests, and any career paths you’re already considering. This helps us tailor our advice to you and keep you in mind for future opportunities.
During the call:
We’ll introduce resources to help you learn more about the world’s most pressing problems and the different ways you can help solve them through your career.
We’ll explore high-impact career paths you may be a good fit for, where your skills and motivations could give you a strong comparative advantage.
We’ll talk through what high-impact roles in your areas of interest look like, what skills they typically require, and how you can start building and testing those skills.
We’ll help you make sense of the broader ecosystem of organisations and initiatives working on these issues, and suggest concrete opportunities for you to explore.
Throughout the conversation, you’re encouraged to ask questions and request specific resources or guidance on any topics you’re particularly interested in.

After the call, we will share a personalised document summarising key points and listing all resources, opportunities, and recommendations discussed. This means you do not need to take notes during the conversation.
We’ll also add you to our internal talent database so we can share opportunities that may be a strong fit for your skills and interests.
Once you’ve received advising, you’re welcome to reach out again for further guidance, support with applications, or in some cases, referrals to relevant programmes or opportunities.
We may also check in with you 6–12 months after your call to see how you’ve progressed and (in some cases) offer additional support.
